Hi,
I have a lamp that I was told (by the old lady that sold her to me) is a Scarlett O’Hara lamp from about the time that the movie first came out. The top half is white china highlighted with gold and light brown hair. It shows Scarlett holding a fan. Her skirt is white with 4 layers of blue lace layered around a frame. The light is under her skirt. The tag says “an original hallmark lamp” and has No.0683 and “25W bulb” handwriten. Does anyone know if this is in fact a genuine Scarlett from the time of the movie?
I have never heard of such a lamp. Maybe email the webmaster of http://www.scarlettonline.com to see if she knows more about the lamp in question.
In the movie, there is a portrait of Scarlett that hangs in the new plantation that Rhett built for her. Does anyone know what happened to the painting after the movie was over?
It’s located in Atlanta, GA at the Margaret Mitchell House & Museum.
Leigh I’m just testing here..
